I was born in West Africa and have lived in Germany for around two decades. Today, I share my life here with my wife and our three children.
Living between different cultural perspectives has shaped the way I see people, family and belonging. It has taught me that identity is not defined only by where we are born, but also by the relationships, values and experiences that make a place feel like home.
My children deepened that perspective. Through family life, questions of upbringing, responsibility, cultural differences, hope and identity became more immediate — and increasingly found their way into my writing.
I began writing after coming to Germany, but over the last few years it became a much more intensive part of my life. Writing gives me a way to transform experiences and questions into stories that can reach beyond my own perspective.
I am especially interested in family, responsibility, cultural difference, hope and identity. I want to tell stories that allow people to recognise something of themselves in others — and perhaps find courage, understanding or a new point of view.
My current book projects are not yet published. They are part of an evolving body of work in which personal experience meets universal questions.

I am drawn to character-driven projects about family, culture, belonging, responsibility and the choices that shape our lives. For producers and creative partners, my aim is to develop ideas with a clear emotional core, strong characters and the potential to connect with audiences across cultural boundaries.
